FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida.– A woman is ordered to serve 3 years of probation after being pleading “no contest” to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.  Tamara Strulovici was arrested in May of 2009 when she  held a steak knife to her husband’s throat while demanding her husband to sign divorce papers that included a provision to give her the deed to their house.

Prosecutors agreed to drop an attempted murder charge Wednesday as long as Tamara Strulovici, 53 years old, agreed to plead no contest to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Broward County Circuit Judge Sandra Perlman also ordered Tamara Strulovici to have no contact with her husband who now lives out of state.
